Digital Hearing Lab Promotes Better Hearing Health and

Breast Cancer Awareness with “Hear in Pink Campaign”

October 11, 2018

During October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we at Digital Hearing Lab (DHL) are combining our commitment to bring better hearing to our community with support for breast cancer awareness. We join with Oticon Inc., leading hearing care manufacturer, to promote the national “Hear in Pink” campaign. This annual campaign combines DHL’s commitment to hearing health with support for life-saving breast cancer research.

Throughout September and October, Oticon will donate a portion of the sales of all Oticon Opn™ hearing aids, including a special edition pink Opn, to the National Breast Cancer Coalition to support its mission to know how to end breast cancer by January 2020. . Breast cancers is the second most common cancer in American women. Since 2007, the annual campaign has enabled Oticon to donate more than $110,000 to non-profit breast cancer organizations.

“Everyone knows someone – a mother, a sister, a grandmother or a friend - who has been diagnosed with breast cancer,” says Mr. Rodriguez. “This is an important health issue that touches many people on a very personal level. The ‘Hear in Pink’ campaign gives me the opportunity to continue my focus on improving the hearing health of people in central Florida while at the same time show support for individuals, families and friends who are affected by cancer.”

Oticon Opn hearing aids are the centerpiece of the 2018 “Hear in Pink” campaign. Opn provides advantages that even the most sophisticated hearing solutions of today can’t deliver – the ability to manage listening to multiple speakers in noisy environments, like restaurants or social gatherings. It brings additional benefits, including rechargeability, built-in tinnitus relief sounds, the ability to connect to the internet as well as direct connectivity to iPhone® and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. In addition, the optional TV Adapter turns Opn hearing aids into a pair of wireless headphones for TV listening. For more information from Oticon visit
